About Kristi

About Me:
I wholeheartedly believe in a collaborative approach to counselling. I do
not see myself as the driver of the process, but the passenger that is there
to help guide you. I believe that each individual has a unique story and
requires a therapeutic approach tailored to their needs. I strive to create a
comfortable space that gives clients the safety to be vulnerable. I understand the importance of safety and connection to the therapist from my own experience of attending counselling. I feel honored to be invited to walk along an individual’s journey towards wellness and empowerment. I am constantly amazed at the strength and commitment that people have to make positive change in their life.

When not at work I enjoy spending time with my husband, two small boys,
and dog. I like to remain active and engage in outdoor activities. I am also an
avid bookworm. I love to travel – usually I go somewhere near the ocean!

Education and Work Experience:
I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of the
Fraser Valley. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and a Registered
