About Anne

Why Changing Seasons?

Anne has practiced in the counselling field for 26 years.  She brings a wealth of professional and personal experience to her clients.  Anne's approach ensures clients feel supported, emotionally safe, and ultimately in charge of their own change process. 

Anne's approach is eclectic with grounding in Adlerian psychology and many years experience practicing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Mind-Body Approaches, Family Systems and Use of Self.

Anne is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), and strictly adheres to their code of ethics. 

Clients served include: 

  • Individual Counselling for Adults, Older Adults, Post-Secondary Students and Adolescents 16+. Areas of practice include Managing Depression & Anxiety, Grief & Loss, Self-Esteem Building, Assertivenes Training, Anger Management,  Family of Origiin Issues, Trauma, Work-Related Matters, Separation & Divorce, Pet Loss Therapy.                                                                                                      
  • Relationship Counselling.  Areas of practice include Communication, Building Emotional Intimacy, Marriage Preparation, Infidelity & Building Trust, Separation Counselling.                                                                             

  • Family Counselling. Family of Origin Issues, forgiveness, enabling & codependency, mental illness, establishing boundaries, managing conflict, Later life challenges with aging family members.
