You've made it this far in looking for some help or information. Sometimes this part is the hardest... I hope the following information will help you in finding what you need.
First, not all counsellors will suit your needs! And not all therapeutic approaches are right for every situation.
A Holistic approach to care requires integrating up-to-date, evidence based therapies while taking into account the unique social, psychological and spiritual make up of any person.
My practice includes use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Behavioural Activation Therapy (BAT), Dialectical and Narrative work, as well as Guided Imaginal Revisiting and Psychodynamics. However, I focus on a client-centered approach where spiritual, social and cultural needs will always override rigid frameworks or theory.
This approach aims to balance experience and training with compassionate and client-centered collaboration.... you are the expert in your own story. I'm here to help.
