About Alice

I believe that connection is what helps us to heal and grow. My practice is based on building an authentic connection with you in order to help you become empowered to reach your goals.

I grew up in England but have travelled and lived all over the world. I moved to Canada in my early twenties and lived in urban Ontario for several years before relocating to a small rural town in Northern BC. After years of dreaming of island life, my wife and I moved to the island at the beginning of 2019. We love exploring its breathtaking beauty by going on hikes with our dogs, taking spontaneous road trips and camping whenever possible. In my downtime, you'll find me in the kitchen experimenting with new plant-based recipes, sipping hot chocolate while snuggled up with my dogs, playing music and spending time with loved ones.

I am grateful to live, work and play on the unceded traditional territory of the Snuneymuxw First Nation, and I use she/her pronouns.

My areas of specialty are:

- Gender and Sexuality

- Sex, Intimacy and Relationships

- Couples and Partners

- Neuro-diversities and Disabilities

- Self Esteem, Body Confidence and Weight Management

I have a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, Postgraduate in Communicative Disorders and Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I also have specialized training in:

- Gottman Couples Therapy

- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples
