I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor committed to making quality counselling accessible. I offer sessions on afternoons, evenings and weekends. I have experience treating clients with a wide variety of concerns including trauma, depression, grief, suicide, anxiety and more. My work with clients focuses on helping them resolve feelings that are weighing them down. Left unresolved, these feelings often lead to negative thoughts and feelings, anxiety, anger, and difficult interpersonal relationships.
My theoretical orientation is a combination of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy. Both are empirically validated approaches to therapy. My goal is to first teach you better tools for coping with emotional distress. Once you feel more grounded and ready, we will work on understand the root of the problem in order to produce lasting change.
