So far, as a therapist, I have experience working with trauma, anxiety and depression, and a variety of other concerns. However, instead of using labels, I prefer to address head-on the general suffering associated with living a human life. I believe that it’s not suffering that’s the problem per se, but our general attitude towards it — in other words, the style with which we suffer. By developing a more open and compassionate stance towards our suffering, we can begin to live more fulfilling lives.
One of my areas of expertise is working with men surrounding men's issues. I believe that ideas of masculinity are changing over time and it will require new ways of thinking about ourselves as men to adapt to this changing world. Trauma in men is another neglected issue and I have spent the majority of my career working with men at addressing and resolving their traumatic pasts.
