Dr. Daniele Doucet (nee Duplassie) has been practicing the art of psychotherapy since 1999. She holds a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology, completed all courses toward a PhD in Counselling Psychology (ABD), and has a PhD in Human Sexuality. In addition to her academic pursuits, Daniele is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BCACC, a Certified Clinical Sexologist with the American College of Sexologists, and a professor at Adler University. Issues that Daniele is able to help with include (but are not limited to): sexual(ity) concerns/functioning, relational distress (couples/families/open relationships), anxiety/depression, stress, and life meaning.
Though trained in traditional settings, Daniele is a firm believer that the most rewarding education is through personal experience. Her personal study of world religions, as well as her dedication to her own in-depth therapy process for 15+ years, have helped Daniele understand the depths of the human condition.
With a warm, compassionate, and friendly demeanor, Daniele uses a holisitic approach to counselling that leaves clients finding meaningful, lasting, and rewarding change for their lives.
