I hold a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, and continue my education with ongoing participation in professional development workshops and courses. It is important to me to stay relevant, to continue to develop my knowledge and skills, and to offer the best I can to my clients.
With many years supporting children both through education and counselling, I understand the importance of also working closely with the parents, where appropriate and possible. At times, we all work together.
I support adults at all stages of their life journeys, and with a span of challenges. Those could include anxiety, relationship issues, parenting, trauma, Family of Origin issues, coping with stress, loss and grief, and separation/divorce, to name a few.
I love to facilitate groups, both for children and adults. I enjoyed my many years of teaching and running a classroom and bring those skills to group sessions. Group topics include: Grief and Loss, Separation and Divorce, Self Compassion, Boundaries, Step Parenting, and Wise Women Rising.
I enjoy being a partner in the work my clients are willing to do, to explore, learn, and try out new ways of being, to make positive changes in their days.
