My education, research and practice has specifically focused on understanding deeply and responding compassionately while supporting resilience in adults, youths, and families who have experienced trauma and/or abuse. I regard forming a warm, authentic relationship with you, based on empathy and respect, as foundational to good counselling. This means that I will treat you with dignity and fully attend to hearing and understanding your experience and how you feel about it.
